Euro Delivery Question
It's T minus approximately five weeks for my ED (I learned not to use that two letter abbreviation in the subject line...or to refer to my "ED anxiety").
I am planning to take and install my PCA member sticker and traditional 1970 Markenweltmeister sticker (homage to my first 911).
My question is this - will those be removed as part of the shipping and delivery prep process or will Porsche leave them be when the car gets sent to the U.S.? I could always reinstall but it would be good to know.

Thanks Larry. Good to know. Maybe I'll let the car be the mule for some dirty clothes that I won't need for several weeks too!

They told me to take everything out of the car that I didn't want thrown away at customs. This included the front and rear plates. I put those in my carry on luggage.
They will give you a loaner first aid kit and warning triangle and Hi-Vis reflective vests, but if you remove those they will bill you, so best leave those with the car.

Ah - okay - thanks gents. I'll leave only stickers and schlep my dirty clothes home the same way they got there when clean.

Dropped my GT3 in Stuttgart. They put the temporary reg plates in the frunk and left "their" warning triangle and safety vests in there, but discarded "my" safety vests that I'd left in the glove box. "Your mileage may vary".

Technically you want to start WOT AMAP soon as its warm. The majority of "break-in" (ring seal, actually) will be done by the time you reach these passes. But, French Alps! At first glance I thought that was a Tour route. But no, it says 6 to 9 days by car. Tour riders would do it in 2.

As with Duke - I took my ED plates, triangle, vests, first aid kit, manuals, etc with me. The only thing I left was a key.
As Larry presented above, Porsche doesn't detail you car before shipment. I found a very good car wash/detail place under 10 minutes from PorschePlatz - Mr Washhttp://www.mrwash.de/standorte/stutt...gart-feuerbach. I did an external and internal clean plus a wax - not cheap, about 50 Euro, but very good.
