I agree but I also think it's an optical effect with the bulging to the sides of the photo.

I will get the GT3T next to my 993 cab and get a photo. But yes, the GT3 is a lot bigger. Wider, in particular.

the other pic, I did to show how low the front of my car is. Then the GTS 718 is a bit higher and the 987 is higher still — probably close to factory 993 height which I think it optimal.

Anyone out and about today? I’m planning to dispose of used oil at a local auto parts store in Montgomeryville then wash the 997 followed by a dry-off drive.

Took a ride to Sears to check out what’s left of their Craftsman stuff (and Lands End stuff). Pretty bleak on both accounts. But the ride was fun. Tried out the Sport response button

GT3 looks not so big next to an M4.

Had a nice drive down to northbrook then driving around after. Anyone parking their car for the winter has missed out as there have been a LOT of nice days this year.

Wow that really makes your GT3t look narrow ... which having seen it in person it is definitely not.

I check the weather reports every day and think ... why not take the 911? I try to use mine as much as possible except when I see a snowplow drive by spraying salt. Nope!

Anyone know if there are upcoming local-ish car control clinics? I did an Evolution school autox class years ago in Camden my Mini Cooper s and had a blast. I’d like to get more experience with getting my 911 out of control and back in, in a safe environment.

There are a number of options in the area. Check out Philly SCCA. First AutoX weekend at Warminster community park April 4/5. Riesentoter track events are now also open for registration and May 8-10 weekend at Pocono and June 19-21 @ NJMP they offer an into to DE if you are starting out. Also NASA NE region has a number of DE events in the area starting with March 28/29 @ NJMP. All good options to practice car control.

No question, we have had some nice days so far this winter. My car is still undergoing reconstructive surgery...Hopefully completed soon!

1st State, I am sure she will be fine by spring.

I look forward to seeing her back to her best. I did see Mrs. 1st State, but I did not mention the RUF bumpers ....
