The route itself is certainly not the most exciting for sure. Although a couple hundred cars in a caravan from KOP is kinda neat, and of course it is for a great cause.

Hello everyone.

Just purchased my first Porsche last weekend, a 718 Cayman GTS. I'm pretty loyal to my cars and keep them forever, so I'm looking to dive-all-in to the Porsche pool. I guess I need to join PCA first. I'm in the Philly area; the Phil-a-trunk looks both like a very cool event and also a great way to meet some local Porsche folks face to face, I guess I'll be registering for that too. If you see a new guy in a 718 Graphite Metallic Blue GTS on Saturday, come say hello.

Alex

Alex,

Congratulations on the purchase. I'm a Philly guy as well 1978 SC and 2011 Cayman S. I strongly suggest joining PCA. Great group of enthusiasts. Phil-a trunk is going to be a great event. Hope to catch up soon.

Paul

Congrats on your first Porsche! You certainly dove right in with a winner, that 718GTS is a little rocket. I'll keep an eye out for you there.

I'll be attending Phil A Trunk this Saturday with my track rat below, I'll see how many cans I can fit in it. Be sure to come say hi! I wear glasses and a Red/Black Porsche hat pretty much everywhere haha.

Regards,
John Gaydos

Hope to see some of you Saturday for Philafrunk. Hint...buy food in cans, they weigh more of course and helps make sure the Porsche contribution is higher.

Also you don’t need to be a PCA member. But be sure to register.

John that’s nuts. Is the suspension the bump stops?

I will be there tomorrow in the green car.

I can confirm John’s cayman was slammed with the extra weight.

Here are some pics. I did a walk around on my Instagram of all the porsches in a few videos. I am @ptstouring

Well the noise from the left rear went away after the cans came out so maybe it hit the bump stops idk haha. Next year the passenger seat is coming out and I'm going to put more on the rear deck. Great seeing you by the way, I love that green!

John Gaydos
