What happens at the PCA open house? I did reserve tickets, but there is no list of activities other than a "pop up tent" to let you buy PCA crap. I don't know that a tour of a magazine office excites me enough to drive two hours each way.

Funny, I cannot find a description of previous years, or of what events are planned for this year.

Before I drive through crappy Baltimore traffic, tell me why I want to go?

I should be at Warrington. Look for a guy with a NASA shirt on trying to peer pressure his friend into buying a Porsche.

My 8 year old son has now been to three C&C events and rates them from best to worst:

1) Fabspeed (he liked the fresh donuts from the truck and playing games on a Tesla with a kid he just met)
2) Warrington (fresh bagel sandwiches and hot cocoa/water avail from the service waiting area)
3) Radnor (only coffee, no food or drinks for kids).

Clearly he has different C&C priorities than I do. If you bring kids to any of these events it's a good idea to have some water bottles and snacks just in case. And wet wipes for their nasty lizard hands.

I honestly don’t know either. I planned on going last year for the first time and it rained sideways and I bailed. My buddy has gone like twice and leads me to believe it’s something that should be done at least once. Prob won’t be this year for me either.

Well, I'm tired of the normal Cars and Coffee stuff and it's my birthday Sunday so...I'm leaving Lansdale, PA around 9am and going golfing with shotguns at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays. Getting there around 10am. If you guys want to do something different, here's the Facebook event details. Probably a dozen or so friends and family already going, always down for more. Completely winging it and informal so don't hesitate to go haha.

We should setup another of the drives we did the other weekend, that route I finished driving with (Ron I think, terrible with names) is a winner.

Best regards,
John Gaydos

John,

Happy bday. I am tied up for the party, but you will have a great time. And yes, you got my name right and I am down for another drive. That route is a winner although I do prefer turning south at the end.

I will try to make it to warrington, as I want to do a side by side with their olive car, but I should probably turn wrenches instead.

Holbert's seems to show some 992's on their website but no real pictures yet:

Wonder if we will get to see some getting unloaded tomorrow.

Super nice FINALLY meeting you this morning. It was a great time talking Porsche’s this morning. Very good C&C. You happen to own one of the more pristine 997’s. Kudos, on all fronts. Look forward to talking to you soon.

Great turnout today at Porsche Warrington and I finally got to meet the elusive PhillyNate in person! Great cars including the gorgeous Aventurine Green 992 as well as friendly folks who love to geek out over cars.

Has anyone been to the Coatesville Vintage Grand Prix? It's this weekend and I'm thinking of checking it out.

I have been a couple of times, and plan on going this weekend. Its a fun event to check out since its fairly close and free to watch. There are some decent photos and video on their website to get a feel for what the event is like.
