I called them yesterday when I was looking to get an x-pipe installed and they said they don't that kind of work...

I've spent the last 10 months renovating my garage to work out of it. My specialty is the 997 Turbo as I own one... but that pretty much transfers over to the entire 997 range of cars. I primarily work out of here on what I'm certified in - HONDA / ACURA, but am open to taking in work outside of that for the P-Cars depending on the type of repairs. Any locals are welcome to message me on here.

You could try Auto Therapy in Gaithersburg. They do inspections for the PCA track events and certainly have a full shop for mechanical work.

what's a good Porsche shop in the Maryland area to have this work done?
I can help you for your soul performance exhaust installation. I did it on my car in a few hours and even made a video of it. It's pretty simple with the right tools.

Yeah they installed the sport cats on my .1 Carrera... I have mixed feelings about the shop right now in regards to some other work, their rates, and their general knowledge of 991's. With that being said a friend volunteered and handled the install for me on Monday.

Sorry, @DarienA . I was referring to the body portion of the work, “Thinking of possibly installing a GTS or GT4 front bumper on my S, plus maybe a spoiler in the back.” For anyone’s future clarity: EuroPros is a body shop.

Whoops misunderstood. All good. They are going to take care of my emblem install which makes sense as a collision body shop they have the Porsche template mount setup.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a shop for MD State Inspection? I am about to purchase a 997 and will need to get a state inspection for tags. I would love someone who has experience with 911's or sports cars in general. The car has some slight mods that I do not want the shop busting my ***** over too. I am in MoCo, but willing to travel for the right shop. Thanks!

I had Hillmuth (Columbia) do my GT4, but they were not able to do the PCCB measurement...had to go to dealer for that....but they're not a big sports car shop. For that, try Ralph's...or the two other shops in this vid:

Your garage is nice. Any reason why you didn't install a full size lift with your ceiling height? Also how low is your 997 turbo I need to either use the pucks or create new pads to get under my GT4. I just installed this lift in my garage as well.

TPCRacing.com (Jessup, MD) is not a body shop, but a Porsche Race shop. They could probably do it.
