I set up the sessions for the rest of the season. Sunday nights are usually tough for me to make it, but I'm pretty well practiced at the Glen. I do need some time to fiddle with tire pressures now though.

I dropped pressures to 17 and 17.5 rears and the car felt the best its felt in a long time.

Did a Blancpain Sprint race again last night, is there a way to see everything that is going on during a pit stop? I set the fuel to right level, yes had new tires but it sure seemed to take a long time. Think I lost 3~4 positions when everything shuffled out. Seen one person that came in right after me and went out way before me, guessing they only did fuel.

It's been a while since I've done one of those, but it's almost never worth taking tires. In the 24hour we ran a full tank on a set of tires and weren't losing much speed because of tires. Also new tires take a few laps to restabilize.

That's right - we double-stinted the tires, didn't we? And I think the driver change portion of the pit stop takes up more time than the tire and fueling do - and happen in parallel. So you don't lose anything taking tires WITH a driver change.
I've been doing the IMSA series, which also has pit stops - and it does seem like it's not worth the tire change. The car falls off a little, but not enough to hurt over the longer stop PLUS the time it takes for the new tires to come in.
I did take a tire change at Spa because I was paranoid about losing control (setup was a little sketchy and fell off REALLY fast) and in the end, when looking at lap times, I didn't go fast enough on the new tires to make up the difference.

Interesting about the tires. Are you guys referring to the official races? During the last enduro at RA, we found that the tires fall off ridiculously at the end, and ended up pitting a bit early than usual. Each stint was about 55 minutes.
