Worked for me anyway. Whatever set of keys I pressed to get it to type wouldn't let me go so I sat there as you guys went for the restart. I predict more carnage with a standing start.

I agree with Luke -- I've never done a rolling start at Mosport, but I watched a few videos and it looks like the majority of the field will not have reached the tight right before the race goes green. Even if no one stuffs it in that corner, it'll still suck -- the midpack guys gridded right will have a huge advantage since it's not really practical to go two wide through that corner.

Oh yeah, please straighten your wheel!

Last night I tried to see how wide I could take 2 to give room, I found the limit and it's not that far.

Also, I'm bummed I'll miss this race, 7pm was the only dyno time I could get this week for the Exige at the discount rate so I'll be on the dyno while you guys race.

Folks with the Rift DK2... How's your resolution? Mine seems to be pretty pixelated. Is this normal?

I'll be on tonight regardless after 8 central... I'll probably host.

This is my home track, lots of laps and have raced here. You probably want to un-bunch the field with a rolling start, turn one is not the issue you can get through 3 wide, 2 is the issue, if the guy on the inside misses the blind turn in point the guy on the outside is in the grass and then the wall no saving it. Mosport paved the outside of 1 and 2 2 years ago for NASCAR, that will not help us Wed

To be clear, it's Turn 10 that at least I'm worried about. When the top qualifiers get the green flag, the middle and back of the pack will not yet have reached T10.

For example,
shows the green being thrown after the third qualifier rounds T10 (at the 7:20 mark), and the guy specifically says that he dislikes it.

I'm going to be hosting starting around 830 tonight...

Should I do a free practice or do we want to do a race similar to the one Luke put together last night?

I'm down for practice tonight. Also I would vote for putting a quick 5 or 10 minute race at the end so we can practice the start, but up to you.

I agree, I'm interested to see how the close racin' is with the rift. I have a ways to go as far as my lap time is concerned, but let's see what happens.

I see what you mean, but there was a ton of room after the first 4 guys, usually 6 or 7 pairs get through 10 before green. I would still rather go 2 wide in 10 then 2 on the first lap

Since fixing my driving will be harder, it's time to ditch my laptop and get a decent PC. Anybody seen something off the shelf that I can go pick up for tonight?
