Rennlist iRacing thread
Track was pretty fast. I tried a ton of setups, ended up using the same setup from the last time we were there. It doesn't have outright speed but I can lap consistently so I'll probably stick with it though I'd be curious to try Julian or Phil's setup next practice.
Only had 9 show up, but was expected due to the holiday. Tom and I kept swapping fastest time until the end when Julian took my setup and tweaked it to his liking and he did a 2.04.9. Julian likes his car way to loose for me :-) I was able to do a 2.05.19.
Phil, you mean that Julian likes the setup a little tighter which makes the vehicle oversteer a little too much for your tastes???
He means the opposite. Julian can work a more loose car than the average rennlist driver. Great in some corners that naturally have understeer but tricky in several corners leading to incidents.
No ****
Could only get down to a 07 flat, opt was 5.5 but could never put a lap together that I stayed on asphalt. Tried Phil's set-up but the car did not turn in like I like it too, will stick with mine and tweak. Lots of work needed and I am travelling for 2 days

I clipped somebody at the last Road America event too when I thought I was still clear and moved to the inside and wound up driving across his bumper. Spotter never said a word!
Looks like a lot of changes to tomorrows iRacing release, a lot of UI updates:

Specifically for the RUF Track, will be interested to see what the brake changes and torque.
Ruf RT 12R Track
- Wheels can be custom colored.
- Added adjustable traction control. Traction control can also be disabled for 5 seconds via the new traction control toggle control.
- Has a new layer of backfire and crackle sound for traction control / rev limiter / pit limiter / up shift ignition cut.
- Updated brake system to use pressure-based bias.
- Increased low end torque.
Also COTA is available and the new BMW, guess not quite available yet.

Thanks for hosting Jim. I worked hard to finally barely beat your time. It took a while to grow the ***** to go through the kink flat out. I had to tweak the aero a bit so it didn't push through there.

Chris did though. I was 20 feet behind Chris when you went off. I've had my share of hitting people but this time I was pretty sure I didn't hit anyone that's why I checked.
