WOW finally got some time to drive the RWD and that thing is a monster.
in comparison we drove the MP4 and GT cars at Road America and down the stretch to T5 we hit 153 at best. The RWD hit 172 but had no brakes at all. In the 944 world this would be called turboing an N/A the wrong way..
I was also surprised that there was very little changes that could be made to the setup. Much like the Spec Ford.
I still dont think the Spec RUF feels right, especially with how much tuning you can do, but I will quit complaining. Its a dream compared to the RWD.
Well back to destroying cars

The RWD is insane.
I got down to a 2:14.889 in the RWD at RA when a few friends and I jumped into a hosted session a few weeks ago. I also couldn't go more than 2-3 laps without having some sort of "off" - most of my laps were in the 16s between crashes. I saw 178 into T1 on the 14.8 lap.
It's pretty clear the car is on street tires, and it feels like some sort of street-ish brake compound too. Thing does NOT want to stop. Or turn for that matter. But it sure puts the power down in a straight line.

I haven't tried LRP yet. Since I'm going to miss the race Wednesday due to travel I thought about either doing an LRP session tonight or joining in any adhoc Laguna Seca rooms. Anyone running tonight?

Someone want to setup a room from 7-9pm EST and share the info here? Sounds like that time frame would work for most. You could run the room longer as well. If not one else does before I get home in 1.5 hours, I'll do it.
