Default CircuitStorm for Android 992 GT3 Wi-Fi Testing

If anyone here has a 992 GT3 or RS with the track app preparation, I'd like to see if my software (CircuitStorm) will connect to it:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...l.circuitstorm

This is a new data logger / lap timer app based on a very popular autocross version, which supports 991 and 718 GT car Wi-Fi telemetry. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to test it with a 992 yet.

If anyone wants to give it a try, you can download it from the Google Play store (Android only, sorry iPhone folks). You can get in touch by emailing support at petreldata dot com.

It should result in a data stream from the car like this one:

Thanks in advance!

I’ve the 992 GT3 but no android any plans for an IOS version ??
Love your overlay with brake telemetry, was told if car has custom PID you can get the brake telemetry, is that what you did with the 991RS

Hi Chris,

The software actually connects directly to the EXLAP service via Wi-Fi. This uses the same telemetry as the Porsche Precision app.

Nobody's reached out yet to test on a 992. Sadly, the app is Android only for now. An old Samsung phone could run it well, and those can be had for cheap if you want one dedicated to go with the car.

Thanks,
Mike

See if you can find a used Pixel 5 or 6, or a Samsung S20 phone. No need for a data plan.

The link to the Play Store page is included in the first post. Pricing is $19.99/year, and includes a bit of cloud storage.

You can try it for free though, which allows you to record up to 3 logs before you have to delete them.

Why wouldn't it connect to a 992 if the track app already does?

Well, this isn't the track app. We want to know if *this* app will connect to it and pull data channels.

Has anyone tested on a GT4RS for you yet? I can if you need.
