Cool AiM Python Support

Hi, has anyone been able to use the supplied dll file from AiM to load .xrk data into Python? I've tried using different packages to access the dll and load the xrk file into Python without any luck. Any help would be great, thanks!

I haven't tried it. I would suggest emailing software@aim-sportline.com and see what they can do to help. I'm not a programmer at all, so I can't help with the Python at all.

Did you come across this example? https://github.com/briguy-official/xrk

Edit: and if you're on a Mac or Linux this will probably be an unpleasant experience. If so take a look at zugbruecke, which has wine as a dependency. Reverse engineering xrk would be more fun.

Revisiting this and found a Rust library that was released in September: https://lib.rs/crates/xdrk

He's wrapping the DLL with https://asawicki.info/news_1420_gene...or_dll_library and his docs say it'll work on Linux (and I'm guessing MacOS should work too.. will fiddle with it this weekend). Could be a way forward with Python.

No, I’ve personally moved in a different direction and have been hacking on the Race Box Mini.

Slightly off base reply, but I'm successfully using the RS3 CSV exports in Powershell and SQL Server. That provides all the data I need for a deep dive on analysis. Happy to share my work if you're interested in collaboration. I don't use Python but I'm pretty sure my efforts would translate pretty easily.
