I have only been burned with QDing my car once and that was when I was using a Microfiber which had a hard edge and scratched my paint. Learned my lesson and will only use the plushest Microfibers for wipedown. I've viewed the car under halogens, flourescents and direct sunlight and no swirls are visible.
Agree, black is evil and by far the most difficult paint to keep looking nice. BUT it is also the most beautiful looking paint IMHO when you get it right!

Stephen go to a Meguiars detailing seminar in Irvine, best way to learn how to use products and try them out on your car.

You might check with Moe (GlisteningPerfection) mentioned in that thread, though I'm not sure he's one to let customers hang around while he works (and it should be said that that was not my intention when I met with Stealth...)
Anyway, you can read Moe's postings at detailingbliss.com as MoeMistry, maybe Autopia too? (I don't hang out there much, preferring d/b + detailcity.org + detailingworld.co.uk/)
PS: I've no affiliation with either Stealth or Moe, though I have used Stealth's services and purchased items from Moe's online store, and I've been happy with both.
