Anybody up for an impromptu meet up Saturday morning? No interesting events Saturday as PCA is at Blackhawk for the weekend.
A couple of us Porsche guys are thinking about meeting at Labriolas for coffee around 9:00. It's a good coffee & pastry shop close to Rt 83, with a big parking lot section with empty space at that time on Saturday. Labriola Bakery & Café

P&P 5: CLOCKTOWER CAFE (MAROVITZ GOLF COURSE, CHICAGO
Folks, we're going metro, and as far east as we can go in this Region: the shores of Lake Michigan!!! One of our members suggested the Clocktower Café at the Marovitz Golf Course in Chicago (be sure to check your favorite map app for directions on where to exit Lake Shore Drive). Bill Weller, the head pro for the course, is planning a great continental breakfast, with a parking package, too!! For $6.95 per person, attendees will get a continental breakfast (yogurt, Danish, muffins, fruit, and juices, water and coffee included). In addition, Bill will supply us with the same Club parking vouchers he gives to his golfers: $2.00 for 4 hours of parking.
But wait!! There's more! To make sure Bill has enough food and beverages for the event, we need your cooperation. Please go to Club Reg to (a) sign up for the event itself, and (b) let us know if you're ordering the Continental Breakfast (two steps, so be sure to take both of them (https://clubregistration.net/events/signUp.cfm/event/9335).

I try to stay away from dealers. Then again, I buy used cars. My favorite, though, is Porsche Napleton in Westmont, IL
