Cayenne 2019 Sport Seat Question
#3
We have taken many long trips both on and off road, glad we have the 18 way adjustable seats. Especially on this trip where we were competitively driving 10 to 12 hours a day for 10 days straight. The trip went north of the Arctic Circle in winter where the temps got down to -36F. Also glade we have heated seats and steering wheel. Our Cayenne is at 4:08 in this video by Nitto tires - we were not using their tires.
For other info on what we do and our build see link below

My wife and I loved them... until we sat in the Sport Seats of a 2018 Macan Turbo. Actually, I still loved them. But my wife thought the thigh bolsters were too tall. She was annoyed they kept catching on her butt / hips as she exited. I am a thin guy (6’0”, 170 pounds) and did not have any trouble. They felt great. But a middle-aged lady with, um, child-bearing hips thought differently. Since the car is for her, we will go with the 14-way seats.
The salesman made a good point. “You may regret the Sport Seats the first week you have the car. And you may regret not buying the Sport Seats the same way. Which bad decision do you think is easier to live with for the next several years?”

For the 958 Cayenne the 18 way seats were too tight for me. But for the new generation, there is a new seat design for both levels. I don't think I would use experience in previous generation Cayennes or other Porsche models as a benchmark that's representative here.

Both of us think they look awesome with the integrated headrest and “Turbo” embossing.
