Instead of talking about nonsense in everybody’s thread, I figure we start a dedicate nonsense thread where we can sorta go off topic without violating any forum rules on here. And post updates of your Cayenne and etc. Like an all in one page.
I definitely appreciate my Cayenne more after being in a Macan base. It feels so much being back into my Cayenne. It definitely wasn’t a good trade off. It was kinda cool spot where they parked my Cayenne when I went back to pick it up from service.
Whats everybody doing for July 4? Hopefully everybody is safe out there with all the drunks driving…
hey! im currently trying to figure out why my 21 cayenne does not drive the same after i got rear ended a month ago, it was a light impact but the rear of the car shakes at high speeds and it does not handle the same anymore, i got a alignment and a balance and while those helped the car still doesnt feel right. i might take it in to the dealer and let them have a go

To confirm, it is still under manufacturer warranty, right?

Hoping its just something minor like an alignment or wheels are out of balance. How bad was the damage from the rear end? I know you said light impact.

no joke i should record it.
haha. I had my extended family vacation a few weeks ago. I had to rent a Wagoneer to have enough room. Lol
two holes in the rear from the license plate holder, they ended up replacing the entire rear bumper and 2 parking sensors heres a pic
that’s not too bad. I am assuming it was the other party’s fault. I would go back to the body shop to check it out. If there is anything else messed up suspension wise in the rear…
if you try the CPO or original warranty route with the dealership, they may say it was caused by the crash and won’t cover it under the warranty. Assuming the crash was reported. If it wasn’t, you can try it without telling them. Lol. But seriously, I would go back to the body shop that repaired it first.
The Jeep Wagoneer L I rented was pretty quick. It had the twin turbo inline 6 Hurricane motor.
420hp 468tq. Something like that. It pulled pretty hard.
It was badass on the sand tho, I tried to get it stuck on the soft sand shoulder and in 4x4 sand mode, it never even skipped. Jeep makes some good off-roading stuff.
I wouldn’t mind having one as a daily family beater.
I know there is some thermostat and overheating issues with them.

i think im going to try to get it fixed without telling them about the accident first lol. ill leave in the fact that i balance and aligned the tires. its a real shame because i was honestly surprised on how great it drove when i first bought it, the dealership that sold me the car really made it feel like it was new. they definitely went above and beyond

Didn’t you say Lizzy loves to talk and you’re a great listener? Sounds like mother and daughter scored the jackpot - built-in audience, loving chauffeur, and a ride in a fancy Porsche to top it off! 😄
