this is the beach airbnb situation. hey, it is wa, and the trail to the beech is about 150ft and it is 65 degrees - so u can get ur swim suit on, but your teeth will chatter.
i am kind of impressed that these trees are happy this close to the beach.
tomorrow you may see a cayenne on the sand pic! sister in law to be booked it. this is my first airbnb. i am a hotel person. packing for this was nearly as bad as the camping lol - i am still deciding how i feel. i feel like i am staying in a place that is staged to be sold. i feel like i need to be like a deer and leave no trace because some nice lady who owns it is going to have to clean it after we leave.

Looks like a nice, quiet spot, but I’m not sure how many people will actually fit in there! Then again, maybe that’s part of the charm, cozy and close. Your Cayenne looks fantastic and really stands out among all the other colors in the backdrop. That’s the beauty of white!
BTW, the Airbnb looks about the same length as your car!

2 in ours. just me n lizzy. there is another house on the same property everyone else is in w a normal size kitchen etc. when i pulled up i called it a tiny house. technically it isn’t but @chassis trailer might be bigger lol
is there any way to lower car to lowest height for entry/exit and save it like in an RR
what i've been doing is putting my car into sport plus mode (where i've saved lowest suspension height) before turning car off, then when i get back in car, it’s in normal drive mode with lowest height, so i have to cycle drive modes back n forth or go into car screen to put height back to normal

no it is just a small trailer fixed up to be beach themed inside. when i actuate the light switches they are so cheap they don’t provide a positive click and if i press slightly firm on them the walls move. it kind of hilarious. last place i would want to be if the wind blows.

i didn’t lower my tire pressure. it did fine! i used OFF ROAD gravel mode in the first video, and OFF ROAD sand mode in the second.
on the sand you could feel the car slipping side to side. it was fun. i just kept a constant speed and didn’t stop.
we parked in loose sand. i wondered if it might dig in at all when i went to leave, but no, nothing, we just backed out and drove away, no big deal.
if i lived closer to the beach i might play with it a bit more. today i am tempted to go out onto the beach and drive the 4 miles up to the little town, Westport WA. in my second video i said it was 8 miles up, but it is actually just 4.

@ThomasWShea The videos are awesome -- looks like such a fun drive. I’d love to take my Cayenne on those kind of dirt paths, gravel, and the beach someday. I’ll make it happen this summer (hopefully) and take a video when I do. QQ: Where is this (I know close to Westpoint, WA but do you have a map you can pin point it to)? The photos are gorgeous, too. Your Cayenne fits perfectly in that setting, almost like it’s the centerpiece in the middle of all that natural beauty. Great shots -- you’ve definitely got a good eye for backdrops.
@ALL - has anyone driven on those kinda terrain that Thomas showed us in his video? Share some tips please and a pic/video would be icing on the cake.
Small Scratches/Dent on Dash Leather from Phone Mount – Suggestions?
I recently installed a phone mount on my dash, and after removing it I noticed some marks left behind on the leather.
As you can see in the pictures, it left both a small dent/indentation as well as a few fine scratches in the leather grain. The dent looks like a shallow compression mark, while the scratches appear like light vertical lines—almost like tiny claw marks.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? Is there a good way to restore or minimize the visibility of these kinds of marks on dash leather? Would heat, conditioning, or a leather filler/repair kit be the best approach, or is this something I should leave to a professional interior detailer/upholstery shop?
Any advice or proven products would be greatly appreciated.
