Will do!

Caught Glovis Courage powering into port this morning. Wish I could find a webcam of the roll-off!

I think my car may be on that ship. Does it continue to Northern Cal. My TYD shows it close to San Diego and then proceeding to Nor Cal only to be transported back to LA?

i agree that'd be amazing! I'm a maritime fan. However, ports are highly security conscious so though you can bet there are cams all over that vessel, and dock and everywhere else, we won't ever see them streamed online. I know a guy who got a picture of his vehicle in the Bencia facility. It was a custom vehicle, and the manufacture rep who had permission to go to the facility got a picture for him. Normally those facilities are a black box.

Back to EPA approvals for a moment... When I search EPA DIS for e-Hybrid data, for the non-Turbo hybrids, I see the Application that Porsche submitted to the EPA requesting certification, and, the corresponding Certificate issued by the EPA to Porsche. What I do not see, however, is even an application for the Turbo EH. Is that odd, or normal behavior?

I received similar info from my SA this morning. He said CARB release of the hybrids on May 31 but that there was a very high chance they will allow earlier. My S hybrid has been at San Diego port since May 7. No update yet on My Porsche, which still says June 28. That will probably be updated by tomorrow.

Congrats to all the Hybrid owners. The date is soon arriving. Any updates on the Turbo EH?

@retom did you send me a link to the Bordeaux seat belts at one point? I am interested potentially, depending on the pics @SWxSec posts. This is from the renderer...

My SA used the word hybrids, emphasis on the plural. I can’t confirm for the turbo hybrid, but my understanding is they all use the same battery and operate the same on battery only. One would think they’d all be approved at the same time.

I have Bordeaux seat belts but I also have Bordeaux Red interior. I think that you have to see it on your own eyes to make the decision. I also think that in your case Bordeaux Red seat belts + Barrique interior + Carmine Red steering wheel may not match to each other. Too many different reds .

I’m based in Canada. Car is arriving to port in about 2 days or so. According to TYD and my own input considering the time for when it showing it’s leaving the port, I should be receiving my Turbo EH before end of June. Curious if this CARB meeting will affect us Canadians for the Turbo EH. Hopefully not and we will get a bypass

Let’s bring the conversation back to EPA/CARB approval.

Any related info for the Turbo? It’s the same hybrid system but a different engine. I’m confirmed for June 28th but looking to see if that has changed based on this week’s update.

Thank you! I sent a similar inquiry to PCNA yesterday. Likewise, will reply with what I hear.

I wish you luck. My questions to PCNA about the permitting process were all answered with “No, we won’t tell you that”.
