Turbo GT Thread - MY2024+

The shop that installed my APR tune on my 22 Cayenne Turbo told me that they have an APR tune for my 24 Turbo GT (picked it up today). I was not aware that this car has a hard break-in where you can't use sport or sport plus for some period of miles (and I have no clue how many and can't find it in the online manual). Guess I will wait a bit before getting the tune. BTW - does anyone know how long before you can select sport mode?

Only the BMW X5M has limited performance during the break-in period. To unlock them, you need to visit the dealer and change the oil.
There is nothing like this in Porsche, and if there was, there would be information about it in the manual.

This is probably a dumb question but you guys that daily a GT…do you find yourself driving it 90% of the time in comfort mode like a regular cayenne and then 10% of time when the conditions are right laying the hammer down? Or is it hard to resist the temptation and constantly drive like a hooligan? I’m guessing it has more to do with the individuals personality, but thought I would ask. My panamera turbo-s e-hybrid was so refined that sometimes you forgot that it could turn in to a savage beast.
I’ve had mine for 3 weeks and I’ve been running it 70% on sport plus… haha it’s too fun not to

I'm really happy I bought this. Sold my 2024 992 Turbo S and 2018 Macan Turbo with the performance package. I miss the 911 some but this is a fantastic replacement. I may buy another Targa (had a 2021 4S before the TTS) at some point but right now I'm going to enjoy my TGT.

It truly is an exceptional drivers SUV. I took it out Sunday AM to stretch its legs in rural farm land and its sublime for what it is. It might have the best launch control of any car I have ever owned (haven't experienced a 992 Turbo S yet).

That the launch control is so good is really impressive given the torque converter. Glad you're enjoying it!!

After 1 month ownership I have to say, I love this car. I'm a Porsche guy through and through I've had many. The surprising thing is I actually like it better than the 2024 992 Turbo S I sold before I bought it. Perfect daily driver for me.
