Guess I will wait a bit before getting the tune. BTW - does anyone know how long before you can select sport mode?
I have used sport mode since first day I got my TGT. Still only have 2500 km on it. I had not heard you are not suppose to do that?

It won't let me activate it in the PCM or on the ****. Dealer said it's part of break in. I'm wondering if they just didn't unlock it during the PDI

weird. Didn’t happen with my TGT either. Was all good in Sport/Sport+ at delivery.

Then clearly they didn't unlock something. Annoying. Same for the sports exhaust. Can't click it. Will have to have them pick it up and fix it.

Something is wrong. The break-in period is only the manufacturer's recommendation. It's your car and your decision how you will drive it from the very beginning of owning a new car.
Only the BMW X5M has limited performance during the break-in period. To unlock them, you need to visit the dealer and change the oil.
There is nothing like this in Porsche, and if there was, there would be information about it in the manual.

My panamera turbo-s e-hybrid was so refined that sometimes you forgot that it could turn in to a savage beast.

I’ve had mine for 3 weeks and I’ve been running it 70% on sport plus… haha it’s too fun not to

I'm really happy I bought this. Sold my 2024 992 Turbo S and 2018 Macan Turbo with the performance package. I miss the 911 some but this is a fantastic replacement. I may buy another Targa (had a 2021 4S before the TTS) at some point but right now I'm going to enjoy my TGT.

It truly is an exceptional drivers SUV. I took it out Sunday AM to stretch its legs in rural farm land and its sublime for what it is. It might have the best launch control of any car I have ever owned (haven't experienced a 992 Turbo S yet).

That the launch control is so good is really impressive given the torque converter. Glad you're enjoying it!!

Congrats! You’ll love it especially after the PPF, tint and ceramic.

After 1 month ownership I have to say, I love this car. I'm a Porsche guy through and through I've had many. The surprising thing is I actually like it better than the 2024 992 Turbo S I sold before I bought it. Perfect daily driver for me.
