ordered my Cayenne Turbo Hybrid in September 2023. I was given a delivery date of May 2024. A few days ago I received a call from the dealer telling me that the car is arriving now. Is something like this possible? All this makes me suspicious because I read everywhere about delays in deliveries and instead my car arrives 4 months early. What may have happened?

When I ordered my 2024 Cayenne S coupe I received emails from Porsche from the time it was ordered until the time it was delivered to my dealer. Did you ever sign up to receive those emails? Usually the dealer sets that up when you place an order.

t seems that the problem also affects the latest S and Turbo hybrids, which worries me because mine was supposed to be delivered in mid-January.
Of course, my dealer knows nothing and claims that he will know more when the car comes. But there is information on UK forums that the problem applies to all hybrids, including the latest S and Turbo models.
The dealer also told me that they have already 30 cars on the stock also from September deliveries that they cannot release to customers because they are withheld by Porsche. I understand there is a problem, but I don't understand why Porsche hasn't been able to deal with the problem for so many months.
This is unbecoming of a premium car manufacturer and has a very negative impact on the brand's image.

My Cayenne S is also out of production with 3 weeks sooner then expected, car should arrive at dealer in the next days and there is no stop sale, etc, they will invoice/deliver the car to me ASAP. Car is bought from Belgium.

My base Cayenne (non-hybrid) arrived at Houston port on 1/10. My SA told me that all Cayenne and Panameras are being hold at the port for a software update and he cannot give me an ETA. Is there anyone in the same boat?
