My UK order which I placed a deposit on about 2-weeks ago and was bumped up due to a cancellation.

The spec locks in on Tuesday next week, with an early July build and a possible end of July / early Aug delivery I’m told.

In comparison to a Range Rover Sport which I was previously looking to order, the Porsche is really quick delivery. The Land Rover dealer said they have customer with deposits placed on day 1 over 12-months ago and still no car or even eta and I don’t fancy paying £10k over for a 1-year old car which someone else spec’d.

Really excited for the Cayenne to arrive as I have never owned a Porsche.

Same story here. I was looking at the new Range Rover since last year and the dealers here kept giving me the run around and then also wanted to charge well over MSRP to "beat the line". I was like, I will wait it out but then I called my Porsche dealer Day 1 of the Cayenne announcement and they said they would accommodate me since I was a repeat customer with no markups. I will never buy a Land Rover ever now and will stick with Porsches, stupid of me to look elsewhere to begin with in the first place.

Seems like shady practice to me.

In the UK, the dealers are absolutely not able to sell new vehicle for overs, it’s well monitored by Land Rover.

Though, they can buy them back in and offer for overs.

My local dealer are pretty good to be fair. But their hands are tied with supply of especially the phev’s not forthcoming.

Oh? Is that part of a Porsche company marketing plan in general, or EPA cert related?

Nice build. I suggest going with 21” Turbo Design wheels in grey. It’s a much better look and more becoming to a car of this stature.

I have a UK June build car about to lock.

I really wanted the new style 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels.

My dealer is saying they wont be available until August/September which is really annoying!

Has anyone else been told the same?

Given the delay for Spyder wheels. What are the options available for after market or replica wheels?

My US build was scheduled to begin Manufacturing May 28. Checked this morning and that moved up to May 24 (yesterday) indicating it’s now in production. Delivery date is still stating July 19.

I live in Austria and here is the launch on July 29th. Before that, no vehicles may be delivered to customers. My "Freeze Point" was originally scheduled for May 22nd according to the sales assistant, but it was brought forward and I couldn't change the color that week. I get an E-Hybrid in Algarve Blue Metallic with a fairly full specification. The sales assistant said the delivery of the Cayenne Coupe is scheduled for the first week of August.

I tried to rebuild in the US Configurator https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PRRBE7N5
