Air Suspension squeaks when entering vehicle
Hi, I noticed after say 24-48hrs of my car sitting idle, when I or people get in the backseat - there is a proper noticeable suspension creaking noise pops up, mostly from the rear suspensions. I have the Air suspensions with rear axle steering, does anybody noticed it in yours? Car is 3 months old MY23 e hybrid and I am not sure if its relevant but I live next to the sea coast line and my driveway is open (no garage).
I have an appointment booked with my local porsche dealer for the cabin rattle and this suspension squeaking sound.

Same issue, same specs, and the dealer said they didn’t notice it while testing. Pls let us know what happens with your dealer. Thanks

sometimes it happens several times a day, sometimes it doesn’t happen for few days. I use my car daily and I noticed it only when getting into the car while switched off. Sounds like two pieces of metal hitting each other

Sounds exactly same. I get it mostly from the rear suspensions. Is yours coming from both front and rear? My car is due to be checked at dealer on 27th Apr. i will keep you updated the outcome.

I tested this tonight my in S with air suspension, after about 2 hours since driving. No squeak. I will try it tomorrow after 12 hours since driving.

Due to the harsh winters I get, road salt, sand and dirt are used on New England Roads in the winter as well as a brine solution before winter storms start ...
What I do is raise the system to the highest setting. Then rinse the underside of the front and rear, use a fairly high-pressure nozzle on your garden hose or 1000-1500 power washer ( mine is electric), rinse all 4-Air springs ( I also use a small ( size of your hand) soft bristle brush to clean off the sand off the rubber airbags as best that I can , all bushings, all ball joints, steering arms, anti-roll bar bushings, mounts, sway bar links, upper and lower control arms, and bushings. Then spray all 4 with a foamer gun, get the soap in there and let it sit for 10-15 mins, and neutralize the salt and brine on the rubber components.. rinse off again as best you can...
Then... Go for a drive 15-20 mins highway speeds to dry it all off...
Then get some RV rubber conditioner and spray everything ... air springs, control arm bushings, anti-roll bar bushings, etc etc Just a light coating will be fine! you don't need to soak them where it's dripping everywhere and on your garage floor.
( you can also walk into most Walmart stores and find this , if you don't want to wait for amazon to deliver)

Did the test again today after 12+ hours of no driving. Result: no squeaks.
