This is make me feel better about my 2023 that’s making its way through the Panama Canal right now. It’s different, and knowing Porsche it will be very well designed… but I love the current interior and this seems more different than better.

- No more individual haptic toggles for PCM menus means more time fussing around with the touch screen. Although I guess it makes the center console looks less cluttered and at least the AC controls are still there.
- Looks like there is just a regular push button start now.
- Gear shift lever is meh.
- All digital dash does not appeal to me personally. I'm sick of staring at screens all day. On the drive home I like to see something analog.
- Passenger screen does not appeal to me personally. I guess they had to include this optional feature to compete with other brands.
- Steering wheel is now from the Macan (which to me is not a good thing)
- Definitely more modern and futuristic, which I guess is the theme du jour.

It mentions the steering wheel originates from the 911 not the Macan but could be both:
The new multifunction sports steering wheel originates from the 911 and has been completely reworked compared to the previous model, with a high-quality, modern and sporty design. The driving mode switch for selecting Normal, Offroad, Sport and Sport Plus modes directly on the steering wheel is now standard. The new toggle button for selecting functions and designs in the instrument cluster is also located directly on the steering wheel, as are the controls for the optional head-up display.

Sureley not needed and kind of waste of money but it is cool - I guess we have to blame ferrari or which ever company invented this. Having said that I am having a tough time not includind it in my options list

Not sure who started it but my sister-in-law's new Grand Cherokee has it, along with all the other toys too.

I'm now worried that MY23 won't loose that much in price with MY24 being so not classy.
