It has Bose. I am not an audiophile so the Bose is fine. I had the Burmester in a 2019 TurboS, I really was not to impressed for the $. I'm sure it sounds better in the Cayenne though. Congratulations on yours, jealous of the 22 " wheels. I am sick of swapping tires in the winter. If I was in California, I would have the 22's with the summer rubber.

Couple of pics my SA took just after hitch installation, Burmester amp installation, PPF and Ceramic. All weather mats and Escort MAXCam 360 with Blendmount are next.

Beautiful! Congrats. Was Burmester a dealer installed option? Haven’t heard of this.

I am sure once the Burmester supply chain issues get resolved the problem will go away.

Default Good choice - better than the 24

Although I know there are positive changes coming in the 2024 refresh, I wanted to keep the same look and feel I was so used to for the last 4 years. For those of you that have had an S, I am sure you can relate. I think the biggest change will be the addition of the adaptive air suspension, Burmester and the new driver assistance features. It has the 22" wheels with summer performance tires just like the last one. The old one with springs still handled great. I also like the V6. It has plenty of power, tows great and gets 24.2 - 24.6 mpg on the highway. I figure if the 2024 S gets a V8 similar to the 2023 GTS, the highway mpg will drop below 20. After having an S, I wasn't ready to go backward to a base for better mileage and with the bump in hp and torque on the 2024 base, I suspect the mileage of the 2023 S will compare favorably.

When making the purchase I evaluated their offer for a maintenance package and tire package. I went back and looked through my service records to compare my actual expenses to their pkg costs. For example, I had one flat that was replaced for $542. I had total service over the 4 year period of $3630. I also purchased one set of tires for $1792. So I opted out of their pkg offerings since they were way more than my actual expense. Note, I put a 37k miles on the car over the 4 year period.

Once I get the car home after the hitch install (part of the deal), PPF, Ceramic and Escort Redline install, I will post some pics in the picture thread.

after seeing the interior of the new 2024, you’ll be even more glad you stuck with the 23. The new “nub” gear shifter on the dashboard is a show stopper for many Cayenne drivers and you’re right about the S going to a V8.

We just bought a 2023 in Jan from dealer in Santa Barbara. Its a base (2000 miles now), and coming from a 957 with 172K miles, we were ready then and very pleased still.

There is an issue with the 9Y0 and the V6 EA839 engine though, about vibration in certain gears and general engine roughness. Would request you look this through and then report how yours is running and its smoothness.

Thanks

My 2019 never had it and this 2023 has no issues whatsoever. This thing is rock solid. Love the air suspension. Love the Burmester. The new PCM interface is greatly improved.

My buddy just got a great deal on another 2023 from the same dealership. It was a base model with a good set of options, exactly what he wanted to surprise the wife. It is nice to see a Porsche dealership offering a strong incentive to buy the soon to be prior model year. PM me if you want me to forward the contact info.

Thinking I prefer the 2023 and the graphite blue / chalk interior plus analog tach.

In general is the order bank still open for 2023 builds? And is there much difficulty in getting a slot for either the S-model or the GTS-trim?

Thank you for the assistance.

Thank you, @redyps . That makes sense--I'm just really late in making a possible pivot into a Cayenne--and was opening there would be some overlap.
