I've finally installed a collapsible spare wheel into my Cayenne last week. I somehow failed to tick a checkbox or something when spec'ing my vehicle and ended up with no collapsible spare wheel. It always bugged me, especially when going on a long trips and/or gravel roads. So, I've asked my dealership to help me order the wheel, and install it. It all turned out to be 4 times more expensive compared to when one would have ticked the checkbox while spec'ing the car. Moral of the story: double check your specs, boys.

No collapsible wheel. That loose wire is form the compressor and it is me being lazy and not tucking it away after use.

Collapsible wheel installed.

This is the tray for the "no collapsible wheel" setup. Will rot in my basement.

@sevasnex looks great, i would have done the same thing. kind of like having a back up generator for a house. a little boring, but if the power goes out, then what? gotta have it imo. be prepared!

I have that same wheel I bought off ebay, mainly because hybrids can't have spares. I strap it to the back side of the rear seats on our X-country trips. 3 hours in Wyoming with no cell and no spare is a bit scary.

While visiting family in the GTA I popped down the highway to visit some grad school friends and set a record for highest MPG I've seen in GTS in the process: a whopping 24 MPG. Wife took the photo.

A quick oil change. I drained the oil so quickly, I forget to grab my Blackstone sample bottle. Oh well...next time. Only 6k miles on the oil.

Picked up a 2023 base Cayenne. Added weathertech floor mats, trunk liner, rear seat cover and car seat mat. Also assembled a Thule bike rack. Now it’s a family hauler 😃

is the weather tech under the child seat safe? I would think that would prevent it from anchoring down properly and create a slippy effect.
