Thanks for sending the link. My e-hybrid is a 2019, but even though the notice says “2020 up to 2022”, mine is also a 9YA, so definitely worth checking.

Thanks everyone for such a thorough and detailed thread. I had a CEL thrown on a 2016 Cayenne E hybrid S within a few miles of exiting the dealership. Will take it in for service (thankfully it's CPO!). Hopefully I can learn more about the code and a similar solution will resolve it.

Please let me know if you have any advice on how to handle this with the dealership.

no more CEL's "knock on wood" - I've had no further issues with my Cayenne since the software update - kudos to Porsche for "fixing" this one.
