Has anyone just removed a resonator or something like that? I have a cat bypass on the 16’ and it opened up the exhaust nicely. I don’t know the difference between the sport exhaust and the standard one, does the sport has smaller mufflers or has removed a component?

In all honesty if it goes in for a service I will just switch the exhaust over. I just don't want to be paying Akra money for my misses car

I know Akra and Techart do them but neither will be sensibly priced.

No idea, mine doesn't even have the sports exhaust. I don't want it to be mega loud but something a bit better would be nice.

Which engine does she have? I know you mentioned Turbo in the title but I wanted to clarify if that was turbocharged engine or Turbo trim.

Capristo offers both an exhaust & downpipes for the new Cayenne Turbo. Together they total close to $10k but you can purchase them separately to save cash & get the sound you are looking for. The exhaust comes in at under $6k and will give you a deeper grunt & more roar. The downpipes come in at under $4k and would give you more turbo sounds & whistles. Below is a video of the exhaust. Feel free to email me directly for more information and purchasing - David@WheelsBoutique.com

I think every aftermarket exhaust I've seen posted here for the 9Y0 Cayenne has been $10K. Seriously. There have been at least three, and all hit that price point.

It seems difficult on its face to make Porsche option prices seem cheap. But man, if you want to save a bunch of money, just include PSE in your order for $3K and be done with it.

We all know about the P tax, but this is ridiculous. I still remember I had an OBX cat back exhaust on a Volvo S60R back in the day (04), that thing sounded great and I think was like $700 with Great finish and fit. So WTF?. Depreciation is a bitch...

I researched this, and spoke in-depth with two SA's, and both said "pass". Now....I really wish I bought it.

Why is it such a mystery game in getting pricing? It's like medical care; no transparency in pricing. Why can't we just get: $4,000 for exhaust, $2,000 to install, or whatever. Honestly, anything over 5k is gouging in my opinion, but to each his own. If I could get it in the car for $4k out the door,...well, Ok. I'm seriously considering it. Otherwise, I don't think I'm interested.

I did get the top-of-the-line sound system, zero regrets, love it every single day, every single minute.

$10,000 for an exhaust is absolutely ridiculous. Maybe I overpaid for a sportscar SUV, but I am not getting raped on an exhaust. Not happening.

I admit, I wish I got the PSE. Now, it's a nightmare trying to find a "REASONABLY" priced set-up. This is a Porsche option that I, honestly, thought I could get cheaper in the aftermarket--NOT. Now I'm left searching for the soul of my Porsche...

ADD: I would like to point out that I added a phenomenally sounding Tubi Exhaust to my Ferrari for $4,500 a few years ago "at the Ferrari dealership"....and that was out the door. It was incredible, looked incredible. Pic coming....

Not a popcorn fan, but sounds nice...

Akrapovic:

TechArt:

Capristo: (likey)

I do not believe posting a non-turbo Cayenne is a fair comparison, for those with Turbos.
