Sport Pedal DIY Install Tip

They are... I now have the original rubber cover removed and cannot get the new one on so I am using the pedal with no cover.
Anyone have a 23' or service manual as to how to remove the pedal?

Until you figure it out, wouldn't it be better to put the rubber cover back which shouldn'r be that bad?

I can’t get the original back on either it’s got the same issue. It’s very difficult to put on because of the design on the rear to “slip” on but it’s too taught

Hi @mgx1020 , I have a 2020 ehybrid coupe and it was the same with 2 screws so didn’t dare to try and remove the pedal. However, with a bit of dishwashing liquid it was easy. Still a bit of trial and error, but certainly doable in a couple of minutes. Don’t know where you live, but in Western Europe, the brand “Dreft” is particularly known for this kind of applications.

Driving a '16 Cayenne diesel. Got the brake pedal cover on on but no go on the accelerator pedal. Removed the screw on the floor but the pedal arm appears to be held in by a white plastic tab mounted to the back of the lower dash that seems rather fragile. I put the screw back and tried heating up the rubber on the edges in an effort to get it to slip on. Still no go. I'll probably take it to the dealer now with my head hangin' low.
