‘24 Cayenne S E Hybrid arrived this morning. Spec is slightly different from my ‘20, did full sport exterior, and deviated seat centers instead of club leather. Haven’t had a chance to drive it yet, replaced a ‘24 BMW XM.

Looks great, SportDesign is always the right answer! Enjoy!
Congrats. Nice spec..esp Sport Design. Interesting with deviated leather seat centers...don't see that much. Would have loved mine in grey if I had known how to spec it. Interesting also you came from a 2024 XM...why the change? isnt' that supposed to be BMW's best M design for SUVs?

The deviated centers were buried in a weird spot on the configurator, nothing intuitive. I wanted something different, had Cohiba/Truffle club leather on my ‘20, but didn’t like the choices of black, or black/red on the refresh. Had Sport Front Fascia on my ‘20 as well, went with the entire package this time around. On the XM, it was a nice luxury SUV, nothing especially super “M” about it, slower than an X5M. We made some compromises on it, and when my order on the S E Hybrid came in, we decided to take it. What really threw it towards the new Cayenne, BMW slashing prices on the XM, and talk of discontinuing the model, essentially what happened to the i8.
yes that was an interesting choice. i wonder what the reasoning was. maybe because of the curve of the roof on the coupe the logistics to make it work would have compromised too much interior room, or looked goofy on the exterior when open? i would be curious to know. Or maybe they are just influenced by the tesla trend or "glass roofs are cool".
When I ordered the car I thought I would be bothered by it. But I like the coupe style much better than the standard Cayenne. Therefore, a fixed panoramic roof it is. Interestingly, I have found that I hardly desire opening the roof while driving. Of course, for really nice days I’m using the roadster with its top down.
Good morning everyone. As a new forum member and a new Porsche owner, I just wanted to share a few pics of my newly acquired 23 Cayenne GTS.
It was a difficult decision, by I decided to trade in my 23 BMW X5M Competition for the chalk Cayenne. It was a 4 hour drive home from the dealership yesterday, and my wife and I both absolutely enjoyed it. I really liked my X5M, but the Cayenne does so many things well that it is a much better daily driver. I would've bought it just based on the looks and exhaust sound alone, but the air suspension was also a huge factor over the BMW.
I look forward to learning and sharing so much more with other Porsche owners on this forum. Thanks for looking

Congrats! I too switched to a Cayenne (24’ S) from a 21’ X5MC. It is all around a much better daily in almost every aspect. Those are the best looking wheels to be available on the Cayenne to date imo! Wish they were offered for the new models.
