..... over Thanksgiving break in the Adirondacks ... pics on a Dam between two lakes.
(~2 miles of dirt roads leading into our cabin. On the way in: 14" packed snow,... easypeezy. Last day temps rose 15 degrees, on my way out 10" slush covering mudd. CTT handled it like a champ).

Thanks RD. That was a fun weekend bombing around on those back mtn logging roads. These SUV's really put the "Sport" back into driving a big DD'ing pig (affectionately referred)

Sooo much fun,... at the same time as I had my heated seats on, open window fresh air hitting my lungs,... and my Burmester gifting my ears with such clean crisp tones.

... All this, while tromping over grounds that I am usually either on a snowmobile, ATV, or Hunting. At my age, all this just felt surreal as a combination of high end quality & luxury, at the same time spitting mudd & slush out the back.

Thanks guys,

Lighting and conditions weren't the best, I'll try and find another location. I'm not a good car photographer but trying ever so slightly do get better at it!

Love seeing Cayenne's coloring outside those pesky yellow & whites!
Auburn color? Do not see many of these - we have one too.
At least Auburn aka Root Beer when the trail dirt is washed off.

Best thing we did was getting a full Xpel self healing wrap. Did it when 'Otis' was still new. Still looks good after eight years and 108,000 miles of extended off-road trips and rally runs. A bit of sun and/or warm water and it does work for pin stripping.

Bottom right car show photo by Jason Tang -- Top left photo by Guy Minor on return from Chopaka Lake after doing the WABDR up to Nighthawk, WA. Cleaned 'Otis' up for the 3 day Nor'wester road rally in Idaho, all on gravel roads. The hill climbs were more fun than the challenging and expected descents.

Thanks! Not many Auburn's running around. I saw the thread on yours, great stuff. Glad to see these can take some punishment. This was my first real off road "test". Pretty decent inclines and declines with medium ruts. The truck handled it awesome! I may do a wrap after I have it repainted. I just got it last year with 85k miles and only PPF on the front. Still in pretty good shape though! And since mine has a manual I plan on keeping it for a while!!!
