So the 2015 Macan steering wheel is plug n play (besides the coding part) on a 958.1 Cayenne Turbo?

The airbag is the kicker for me. Plenty of great steering wheels out there, but an additional grand on an airbag. Arg.

Same I looked into it 6 months ago and that was the deterrent for me; even looked at used ones at they were $700+

I am fairly certain I will reach a level of 'zomgs must have!' in the next year or so. There are a few live auctions which at least visually appear to include the module, but being based in the UK, and sparse on information (such as heating elements, etc and part 'numbers' corresponding to shift levers) and I'm good... But for how long... (Last bit's supposed to be menacing)

If only the difference is the airbag cover and you can reuse the airbag from the old style wheel and just need a updated cover. Or the airbag is only $3-400 used. I would total bite.

I'm not sure the airbag is the same. I've seen people (justifiably) go for new airbag modules (with cover) and from Sunset it's, I think around 750-800? I like the updated wheel, but the situation is evolving I guess.

No coding needed does require GPS adapter

Got to say, the 958.2 wheel really is that much nicer...

Cosmetics wise, the steering wheel and the 958.2 taillights was what I wanted to go after when looking for 958 last year. But end up getting a good deal on a 958.1 S with PCCB, PDCC and PTV. With that being said, I dont think it is worth it to spend that much on mine. Maybe the next one...

I mean I'm not saying no if there's an airbag involved and it has the heating element. Just saying.
