So I am being offered an 'deal' but the seller isn't sure if the wheel is heated. On the 958.1 it's a switch build into the back of the wheel. Where would it be on the revised design?

I believe the button is on the inner side of the lower center spoke.

Yeah the 'hot deal' fell through when the seller didn't bother checking the wheel and their 'supplier' thought it didn't. No interest if no interest in product. Ebay's structured around set of shops really, with high volume, not often that they'll have the time to realistically check. Oh well, more out there!

I found a wheel from a 2018 here for $150. It has some issues (plastic pieces missing/ cracked and airbag connectors broken/ melted); it is listed as no heat but believe it is miss marked as it has the connector and button. Might be a good project from someone. I'm still looking for a carbon wheel with heat.

I've been looking for some time, luxor beige is harder to find!
one route is salvage yards with various asking prices, they usually don't include the airbag. When I called one of them they quoted me 500-600 for the steering wheel withouht the air bag, they said they sell all the airbags as a kit. Then you need to find a beige airbag and then the adapter (300-400).
Another route is offers from Aliexpress. I've communicated with one of them: https://a.aliexpress.com/_mrKNvvu they said heating option would be an added 50$. To me this seems a better deal as you'd get a brand new wheel with no need for an adapter, however, my biggest concern is the quiality of component, most importantly the airbag. If you end up getting a steering wheel from Aliexpress, please come back here and let everyone know about your experience.

I got a nice barely used multifunction wheel off eBay today, $345 delivered. Also, round the wiring for inside wheel for $100 since this did not included. Ordered the GPS STMV1-H for full functioning as well today. The airbag is the last piece to the puzzle! I’ll let you know if I run across 2!

This is the sterring wheel I purchased for my 2013 Cayenne Diesel and need airbag.
Does anybody know if the macan airbag will work for the cayenne wheel?

Has anyone done the gpsadaptor wiring for the multifunction, heated steering wheel upgrade?

I’ve sourced the wheel, airbag and am waiting for the gps adapter to arrive.

I prefer to have someone that has done it before do it (Chicago area) or at least a YouTube video of the process.

Changing out the wheel isn’t an issue for me.

Thanks!

would it include the airbag module or is this where I discover they remained the same unit as the 958.1 all along? :-)
