Just received a letter today informing me of a 20-year warranty extension on my 2016 Cayenne hybrid for the High Voltage Battery Control Unit. A quick google didn't turn up any information, so I guess I'm one of the first to receive the letter.
I've scoured the internet for any mention of a 20-year warranty being enacted for the E-Hybrid models. I'm wondering if this is just a case-by-case basis. I'm past 100k on mine and this would be very welcomed!
Haven't had any issues with mine. I have the 7.2 kw on-board charger, so it could possibly only apply to that option. I'm also over 100k miles and if nothing else, it may provide a bump in resell value.

I also received this letter today. I have a 2016 CSeH with the 3.2kW (standard) on-board charger
I'm not the original owner, but I've had my car serviced under CPO at the local dealership so they have the car associated with my name and address now. I'm pretty sure that I also registered the car on the Porsche website when I first purchased it. Porsche ID
Also, I have aftermarket speakers and amps and a mr12volt carplay unit connected to the PCM headunit. Are these installs enough to void the warranty since they're electrical?
