Warranty Extension Notice
Just received a letter today informing me of a 20-year warranty extension on my 2016 Cayenne hybrid for the High Voltage Battery Control Unit. A quick google didn't turn up any information, so I guess I'm one of the first to receive the letter.

I've scoured the internet for any mention of a 20-year warranty being enacted for the E-Hybrid models. I'm wondering if this is just a case-by-case basis. I'm past 100k on mine and this would be very welcomed!

Haven't had any issues with mine. I have the 7.2 kw on-board charger, so it could possibly only apply to that option. I'm also over 100k miles and if nothing else, it may provide a bump in resell value.

Are you guys the original owners? If not, how/where are you registered so that you get mail from Porsche?
Maybe there's a site where I can enter my VIN and it can let me if if my car qualifies?

I'm not the original owner, but I've had my car serviced under CPO at the local dealership so they have the car associated with my name and address now. I'm pretty sure that I also registered the car on the Porsche website when I first purchased it. Porsche ID

Thanks!
Also, I have aftermarket speakers and amps and a mr12volt carplay unit connected to the PCM headunit. Are these installs enough to void the warranty since they're electrical?

Toying with the idea of selling my 2016 S E-Hybrid in favor of a L405 Range Rover. Any interest from those on this thread in what is the single highest MSRP S E-Hybrid built (approximately $152k)? Every service up to date. All fluids just changed in February, along with spark plugs, coil packs, carbon clean whilst supercharger fluid was changed. 127k miles. Previously had full coverage front PPF. Some door dings, and a nice crease in the passenger rear door that can be PDR'd along with everything else. Probably will BaT it if there's no interest here.
