Just did this install today, thanks to the OP for documenting this.

My early impressions are positive, not a huge change but the overall sound is brighter and crisper.

For the people who have done this mod, would you say its noticeable and worth the cost?

I've been looking into upgrading my audio but my knowledge is a strong 1/10 in this field

I would not recommend it to a regular listeners. Too much hassle (and money) for a relatively small change, that most will probably not notice.

FWIW, I did not find the install particularly difficult and the change was noticeable immediately. Of course after two days it just sounded 'normal', but such is the nature of mods.

I stumbled on a pair on ebay cheap, definitely glad I did it.

Exclamation mod complete

finished this mod yesterday, huge improvement? no
decent improvement for the cost? yes & plus it was a bit a fun

how do I know it sound better? I played with my balance to only play out of my front speakers & I opened my door (because the door speaker was still playing) and used my ears (both ears ) & moving my body (and butt to the other seat) going from new tweeter to original
could I tell? it did sound a bit better... huge? again no but enough I said why not. Plus I enjoyed the easy mod
also the weight of the Ferrari tweeter was significantly heavier then the original

new tweeter & original tweeter front tweeter

sound check using the balance within the PCM

I've got a pair of the Ferrari tweeters on order...

Has anyone found a similar upgrade for the center speaker? Is the Burmeister the way to go, or are there other options?

@Eskimo1 Did you do this upgrade? Was it plug & play? Make a noticeable difference?

Thanks!
