958.1 turbo market
Well I miss my 957 turbo S that I just sold so much I think I’ll have to try a 958 turbo. Seems .1 is the best bet over a .2? I do love the big turbo 8.
There are so many 958 turbos for sale compared to 957s that I won’t mind leaving a 958 parked outside, I just couldn’t do that to my low mileage 957. Any option you guys think is worth looking hard for? I would love to find a turbo S but that seems like another story all together. PDCC and PCCB are options I want again but those are not common it seems like. Are PDDC buttons silver like in a 957? how can I easily spot PDDC on a 958 if it’s not listed in the sale?
The search has started, seems like I’m always looking for the next

Vin check or double power steering reservoirs but that's hard to spot on classifieds as the things are covered by plastics.

I’d love a 958 like you have but they mostly are a little out of my price range. I don’t want to spend more than I sold my 957 for ($30000). But I really want PDCC again. Lots of regular turbos in the 25k range with miles around 75000, I’m good with the 70ish mileage range.
Turbo S
Regular S

Take a look at a post I made regarding PCCB on Cayennes.... You may (or not) want to reconsider your view afterwards.
Regarding PDCC RAudi Driver is spot on regarding the double reservoirs. No silver buttons like in the 957 series. Take into consideration that maintenance on PDCC entails changing the reservoir itself as it has a built in non-replaceable filter in it.
If you plan to put anything on the roof, make sure the one you are looking at comes with the rails already installed as it cannot be retrofitted.
If you are looking for a 2011/2012, make sure the cam bolts have been replaced. Also worth checking into is if the transfer case has been replaced and hopefully it has been after 2018, but regardless, do not follow Porsche's recommended service schedule on the transfer case oil replacement (do it more frequent).

Cam bolt issue is not a problem after 2012?

I believe that the Turbo S comes with PDCC as standard. I've seen quite a few "regular" Turbo with PDCC, so based on my limited view, it's not uncommon to have PDCC.
Regarding cam bolts, supposedly the 2012 models are not affected, but doesn't hurt to look.... Take a look at this post to be 100% sure: https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...his-first.html

None of the Turbo ads list PDDC that I’ve seen. I’ll just start running all the interesting cars vins in VIN analytics.
thanks again 🍻
