Default Survey Post: Diesel Quarter Panel Badge

Most of us devote a lot of mental real estate to our cars. I put some black sport tips on my diesel, and ir made a huge difference in how the car looks. I have been going back and fourth about taking the diesel badges off of the front quarter panels. I go back and fourth......I am proud of diesel. It's the only Cayenne I wanted. I also like the idea of people not knowing that it's a diesel

Input please

I wish it had a big "diesel" insignia under the "Cayenne" on the back. Diesels rule! Bill

I wrestled with the same decision.
I kept the 'Diesel' badge.

Mine is de-badged but for the Porsche script on the back. That's the way it was when I got it.

(I am, however, interested in the "black sport tips" - could you please share what you got and whether they were hard to fit? And I like a good picture )

While I like the badge, I didn't like it on the fenders, so mine is de-badged. I would have left it if the tail read "Cayenne diesel" similarly to how it reads "Cayenne turbo", but alas.

If I ever get through my list of to-do's for the bikes, I think I'm gonna mount them to my Zuma scooter. :P

I removed it and painted it black and replaced it. People point it out all the time and complement it for the fact it is a diesel.

I like the diesel fenders. My rear hatch was debadged before I got it and just says "Porsche". I would like Cayenne Diesel.

I like the diesel fender emblems. It gives me something to point to when the guy at the next pump says "Hey, you know that's a diesel pump, right?" It's happened more than once although not as much as it did with my 335d.

I have removed every emblem on the truck.

I wish I could remove the hood badge.

I have 20" VW PIkes Peak wheels and have black stick ons over the VW emblems but in the winter, there are the stock 19" centercaps with the badges.

Can you tell that I'm anti-badge/decals/identifiers?

I kept the diesel badge on so that if anyone ever tried to tell my wife she was filling up at the wrong pump, she could just point at the fender. Hasn't happened yet.

I bought them from a fellow forum member. They are the ones that you see on Amazon and Ebay. They have been great.

Ordered ours model delete - still came with the tailgate badge.
When we had ours wrapped they took the badge off, we asked that they not replace it
They asked if it would be alright for them to put on 'Otis' in the Porsche font - as it is
While parked waiting for DSR a group of young boys talked amongst themselves trying to decide what kind of car it was. As they looked back one proclaimed 'Its an Otis'

I also think a rear badge would be appropriate.
