It's OT - but to answer the question - I was actually looking for a 2009-2012 Cayman with PDK. They are scarce, and the S even scarcer and more $$ since they seem to be really popular for club racing, and people make dedicated track cars out of them. Ended up with a 2009 Boxster base (with a few performance modifications).. I'd love a newer one and an S or GTS - but there is a limit how much $$$ I can move past SWMBO - and the base Boxster seemed to be the limit. It's in excellent condition, about 55,000 miles on it and owned previously by fanatics. I very specifically was looking at '09-12 for 2 reasons. They fixed the engine problems, they had PDK available. And that's what I wanted.

Hello.
I'm resurrecting this thread. Do we have a solution on this issue? If yes, what's the part number and where it's located?

Thanks!

In a reasonable world that would be true - but we're talking Porsche world. Somewhere I saw a document on CPO explaining how it worked - but yeah - if it was fixed yesterday and CPO ended today, and the fixed item fails tomorrow, guess whose problem that now is? Can't hurt to bitch at Porsche Cars North America, but doubt if they'll do much.
Underline - but we're talking Porsche world.

@RAudi Driver Reviving the thread again because I'm having the same issue. Did you ever find the source of the problem?

What’s the source of the issue? I just got my scanner and I have no faults stored anywhere.

Hey guys.

I made a post here https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...l#post16982037

Maybe this helps you. The sensor wires are very fragile and are the most likely to break and cause the issue.

Ahh that reminds me. I have to attack this. Will try this week as it's getting cold here and I would like to get the heated seat back up and running. Looks like an easy fix. I'm going to reskin my seat also while I'm at it. Not cheap but it's time.
