It would be good to know if others with v2.0 @marcr92 can confirm use of iPod input without issues.

@Red981GTS that doesn't make sense to me... Isudar only appropriates the AUX input, not iPod. I'm baffled...

Hello, i came across this after trying to update the joyeauto unit in my 2014 Panamera,
im on the later 2021 firmware and If I try to instal this its just going back to the main set up menu each time,
it sees the update on the usb, but won't complete the update,
anyone know why? is it because im on a later firmware?
id love to try and iron out some of its bad points!

Yes, on Mac you should format usb stick as MS-DOS (FAT) and copy ISPBOOOT.BIN to the root. Make sure you haven't changed the filename. And try to follow the video instruction carefully again. It should just work. Black screen should appear for a few seconds and then firmware upgrade should show up.

Don't know if this will help but, in my case, the device was really sensitive around the size of the usb stick. I dug into the junk drawer/archives to find a 1gb one and it took that. Newer bigger ones black screened forever and wouldn't update

For the question
I posted before.I figured out that the joyeauto unit runs 5Ghz wifi at 149 channel. My phone due to country restrictions has no access to that channel. While searching for ways to workaround that restrictions on the phone, wondered if @konkab you may know a way to change that channel in the firmware?
Hi folks,Just installed the Joyeauto unit to the PCM3.1. Have an issue connecting android phone to wireless Android Auto. The phone is running Android 11 and the "Wireless Android Auto" option is enabled. Following this instruction but there is no WiFi from the joyeauto unit visible to the phone. The phone seems is getting a command via Bluetooth to connect to a wifi (it auto enables WiFi if disabled) but there is no WiFi network (nothing similar to what shown in video) it can connects to. As a result an error appeard (WiFi connection tied out) on the HU screen and that's it. It works perfect via USB cable connection and I have no apple phone to check if the carplay has similar issue. Is there anyone faced similar problem ? Any advice ?Thanks

Just installed Joyeauto device into my car on a few days ago and most of it seems to be going well. Got a few questions and was hoping you all could help. I am using android auto and it is working wireless but when I initially get into the car I have to manually connect the Joyeauto to the bluetooth before I can get connection. When I start the car it boots directly into the settings mode and i either have to connect via my phone or connect on the Joyeauto menu before i can get connected. I dont think this is the same with carplay has anyone else experienced this?
Also my rear camera is working fine which is great but the front sensors don't automatically show the screen with the car and the sensor indicators like how it did before when you approach something to close. Anyone else getting this?
Also i see some people speaking about the sound quality. Just like with BT AUX you can configure the sound on the AUX option. You can make it surround sound and add bass and tremble there. Once i did this to replicate what I had with BT AUX it sounded a lot better. I use Tidal to play my music and that definitely had the best sound quality over any other app i used.

For anyone who lost or didn't get a aux adapter with their joyeauto and was unable to get joyeauto to send a new one, I ordered a mic-lock (laptop microphone silencer) from amazon for ~$10 and that did the trick.

So, my screen now shows all green when I switch to JOY. Anyone think it's that wide gray cable? If so, where can I find a new one?

It looks like the Isudar is offered as a “3.1 New Version” for roughly $30 more. Is this something new or do the previous posts and reviews in this thread reflect the new version?

That happened with mine, while not green, the screen was messed-up, and it was just because the ribbon cable had become loose over time.

Original is version 1.2
They added a couple of electronic components that allegedly improve sound quality.
