I'm a Mac user too. Format a USB drive to Fat32, then copy the contents of BSJ_2021-09-02 folder (make sure no other files are inside the USB drive). The only items you should see are ISPBOOOT.BIN and the folder titled "OSU_Settings". Then insert the USB drive to the USB female cable provided with the iSudar module. You go to the same place where you showed me the photo of the version and you should see an opinion to update. Click on Update, and you should be on your way. Hope this helps.

Sooo....thinking seriously about this now. I've read the first couple and last couple of pages, but not going to go through the 70-odd pages in between. lol. Is everything still similar to the first few posts with the exception of updated firmware? Everyone still recommend this product? Would love to get CarPlay working in our 958.

Thanks.

After having used the iSudar module on the Cayenne for a total of two days, I would highly recommend the installation. It's a game-changer for me and brings the clunky PCM to the new decade. The response rate is so rapid that it doesn't feel like an after-market product and feels like it belongs in a Porsche. It will make you fall in love with your vehicle all over again

The kit from NM Automotive is the best one out there. Was a trouble free install. I have had no issues as compared to the other venodrs products. my 2¢

I believe it has a 10-band equalizer, but I never used it, sound on the Bose is great straight out of the box. Everything works as it should be...

I'm legitimately curious. What issues from Isudar does NM NOT have?

The only way you could make that statement with causal knowledge is if you had tested the NM Automotive, the Isudar/Ebilaen, the Joye and any other module out there. Have you tested other modules beyond the NM Automotive? If so, would be very interested in hearing your assessment.

I can say, after testing both Isudar/Ebilaen and the Joye modules, that from those two, the Isudar/Ebilaen is superior. I have described in detail the reasons in previous posts. But for me, the speed alone is a significant factor. With the Joye module I needed to perform a lengthy procedure just to connect the way I wanted (which was not using the AUX). Isudar is almost instantaneous, with 5GHz Wireless connection instead of the 2.5GHz from Joye

The quality of sound through AUX is much refined than Joye, with a much better DSP.

Package is more compact without the need of an external box.

True, the Isudar/Ebilaen have some very minor quirks that we are working with them to resolve, but they are minor. I’m not going back.

Now, I can’t say anything about the NM Automotive module, because I haven’t tested it. Perhaps you are right, but unless you test others, there is no way to know for sure. However, from the outside, it seems that the NM Automotive module plays in the same space as the Joye Module? Board looks almost the same as Joye, with the external module…. Not many specs out there.

When I had the Joye, I was happy with it too. Decided to give Isudar/Ebilaen a try… and now I’m even happier.

question for those that got Isudar

1. I didn't have the optical (blue) cable to remove from the main harness and add to the new harness, what is this used for?
2. I didn't plug in the supplied mic yet everything works except Siri anyone run into this?
3. where are the updates posted or does it require a subscription?

thanks

1. The optical cable (in my case orange) is used for the sound output to the Bose speaker system.
2. In the iSudar module settings check whether you have enabled the original microphone
3. No subscription required, but the recent update was shared in this forum by @konkab
