I've now gotten obsessed with creating surveys using Google Forms (cool tool!) - and I've created one for the transfer case failures. I think I have everything covered in it - but if there are suggestions or errors spotted - fire away.
It can be found at: https://goo.gl/forms/fF75xsoM24nuLVhE2 - and it might take about 5 minutes to fill in (worst case)
TIA for giving it a shot!

Glad you are doing this. The local dealer is telling my friends it only occurs on the 2014-16, and not to worry or change fluid on the 2011-15. Unbelievable. Thanks for your work Don.

None reported yet.. I believe there may have been one or two TC failures on diesels - but it's not clear they are caused by the same cause as the gasoline powered cars. I can state it seems much less frequent on diesels.

I think that gets too complex to do in a simple survey. I do sometimes have a life (I think..) beyond Rennlist.. People can always comment here - or in the sticky transfer case thread about those sort of things. So far there is only 1 report of multiple failures (which might give us some data on if the vent kit helps..) - we'd need way more than that to come to any conclusion IMHO.

Great idea to capture all of this info. I just filled it in from my experience with this last year. Thanks Don
