08 CTT PDCC Failure, Lessons learned, and a bleeding question

pic of the current beefy replacement lines after a few hundred miles, decent gap.
kind of looks like the ground wire in the background holds the green line away from the metal bracket
but there is a small gap between the ground wire and pdcc line protector.
the yellow line is clear of everything.

Please pardon the zombie thread revival…
I hope to get some experienced folks to weigh in..
Can the PDCC bleeding process really be just as simple as fill it up, drive it spiritedly side to side, check for bubbles just to be sure?
Is “no bubbles” in the reservoir definitive for no issues WRT air in the system that was nod bled properly?
I am asking b/c I recently DIY’d both steering and PDCC fluids/reservoirs. I possibly sucked some air in when I didn’t cycle the engine back off quickly enough?
About a month and 1K later my PDCC side of the pump is failing. (You can feel the PDCC hoses pulsing/vibrating, while the steering side is vibration-free.)
to bleed I a) tried not to have to, by keeping the reservoir topped up, and b) ran the Foxwell nt530 PDCC bleed special function, and calibration function, both of which move the car around like a Disneyland ride…, and c) drive it spiritedly whenever I drive it.
What do you think? Did I somehow botch the bleed and cause the failure, or is this more likely coincidence and just a 13 year old pump? Maybe the fresh fluid changed something?

BTDT on my silver GTS, vibration in the PDCC reservoir, not the PS reservoir. Rear valve block fault is what’s showing up. Indy can’t diagnose it…waiting for a dealership appt.
Its a clown show here with the local dealer…my Red DD has been there for going on 7 weeks. Ain’t waiting on part’s, just goes in/out of their rotation. Silver GTS was supposed to go in almost two weeks ago…can’t give ‘em both, I won’t have anything to drive.
Update the post when something change’s if you would please.

yeah the SLC dealer is booking 6+ weeks out. My go to Indy is 2 weeks out, and another is 2 days. Still waiting on parts and in the meantime trying not to drive it.
hoping one of the experienced members weighs in n on the questions above!
yes I’ll update the thread. This forum is a treasure; I try to do my part.

When I disconnected my lines to coat the raw stainless in protective heat shrink clear tubing (which is how new lines now come), all I did was fill the reservoir, start the car, then shut it off after like 5 seconds, refilled the reservoir and repeated this process a total of 3 times. On the 4th start I left the car running and went to the reservoir and kept topping it up as the bubbles were coming out into the reservoir until there weren't any more bubbles. I didn't do anything with a scan tool as my Durametric Pro doesn't support that on my 2009 Turbo S. That was about 15k miles ago and no issues with the PDCC system or any suspension errors.
So, I'm thinking your failure is either coincidence or the pump ran a bit too long without enough fluid in the reservoir when you were first starting and filling it. As long as you used Pentosin CHF11 or CHF22, the failure should not have been caused by the new fluid as both of those are cross-compatible with each other and what was originally in the car from Porsche.

CTT 08 PDCC gremlins
As per above posts, and thanks for the heads up as I though I was heading to a new tandem Pump at €2k+: right after a service, where oil, coils, brake fluids were done, and the PASM was calibrated (I recently bought the truck with 140kmiles, full service history but not with Porsche specialists, and it had been in storage for 6-9 months). Also asked to check hydraulic fluids as power steering slightly noisy on roundabouts. Driving away from the shop I noticed a strong hydraulic whine - in all situations below 60MPH - no variation with cornering. Low tremble at 500RPM stationary in D (reduced in N), strong vibrations when slightly turning wheel at standstill. Shop 2nd mechanic confirmed he'd noticed worn rubber brackets on PDCC lines (would not have known to aks this without previous posts here, thanks guys and girls!) and had made sure to push them in tight. Shop owner decided to bleed the PDDC sustem using PIWIS and then went back in under the hod to replace the worn brackets. Solved! (well back to slight PDCC whine but as before) - no charge as they felt they should have done this during original service.
