Dear Gruber,

Actually - you've missed a lot of posts on this issue. I'd suggest searching. There are multiple possible causes for the passenger side floor being wet, and fixes/repairs for all of them have been posted at length. Try searching on "sloshing" to begin with, and then perhaps "wet floor"

You might also look at the RennTech forum, especially: http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic...r/?hl=sloshing

Does it have the original windshield? Bad windshield replacements can leak mysteriously like that...

09 I have had the car for almost a month now. For some reason I always look at the windshield , and yes it was original.

Thanks

I had the same issue. It's the drain.
Remove wheel and partial wheel liner on the passenger side. Once the liner is pulled back, you will see a black flimsy rubber funnel device about 8-12 inches back at about the 2 o'clock position
Most likely leaves are stuck in it because it narrows and it creates raised lip on the inside. When it rains the cavity above the funnel floods and drains into the car.
Remove the plastic funnel and clean out as much as you can.
I never re-installed the flimsy funnel thing and have not had an issue with flooding since

I had the same problem, TGAVEM explained it exactly.
Whenever my car sat after it rained were constantly drips of water coming off of the frame for 2-3 days, so look for that.
It is pain to get the inner wheel well off. Take off whatever screws you can right in front of the passenger door. There is larger bolt I believe it was 10mm or Torx at the very bottom about where the passengers right foot would be. Once you get this put you can pry the panel the panel back and reach up to feel around for the tube. It is a rubber tube pinched on the end when you feel it squeeze it and water will start to come out. You should be able to pull out the leaves and whatever is clogging it with you hand. Warning about a gallon of dirty water and leaves came flooding out of mine.
Good luck
Scott

Don't forget the A/C Condensate drain can clog too. Can be cleared by removing the cabin air filter in the passenger footwell, and lawn trimmer line can be used to clear the clog in the line that goes through the firewall. My A/C drains with a huge flow now. Also check sunroof drains for clogs.

Thanks folks. I just picked up the car. They found that the sunroof drain wasn't connected.

Same thing happened to my 2011. Dealer had to buy a special tool from Porsche to attach the drain tube. It took them two tries to get it right and required Porsche NA to pay for the seats, carpet and padding to be removed, dried, and disinfected with an antibacterial agent to stop mold and remove the wet dog smell.

Just cleaned out the drains behind the front wheel wells on my 2009. On the passenger side all of the pine needles and leaves were flushed out and sitting behind the liner, on the driver side everything was in the body cavaity where the drain exits. Glad I did it. Didn't even need to remove the wheel, just loosened the back of the liner and reached in. This weekend I'm clearing out the AC drain. When the car was 2 years old water got in and prevented it from starting, I found this in my stack of receipts.

Well its back in the shop with a wet passenger floor. All drains are clear. They are keeping it through the weekend again. This is becoming very annoying. Ive had the car for about 2 months and its been in the shop almost 3 weeks. UGGG!
