Tires - Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta
Finally hunted down a set from New Jersey to FL delivered at $300 ea for 295 / 35 / ZR-21's. Hard to find and went on some comments from here on Rennlist. Wife's GTS 6-spd. rig was down to Cord on diver rear in some spots! Yikes.
Vehicle new to us at about 5K ago (60K now) and was Really Noisy in town and hwy. with the old, spent Dunlop's. Rolled out of Tire Shop that mounted for a test-run and Extremely Pleased. A quick blast down I-95 at it's "namesake" and smilin' like a fool!
Essentially Zero Tread-Noise, Very Sure-Footed, Smooth and Responsive. Road was wet as well off the hwy. but no evidence of it in some choppy-hard turns in back-roads. It is a new vehicle.
So Far VERY impressed.
I'll check-in after several Thousand Miles and let you guys know how things are rolling then.

I had them on my 06 X5is, they were a good tire for the money, about the same overall on duration as continentals. On thing i hated about them was they were good in the rain but worthless in the snow, worthless.

I love the smooth, quiet ride you get with a fresh set of tires...

It looks like the OP is in Florida, so that shouldn't be an issue...

I'll give a Plug to Joe at "Group A" (find on web) for super Phone follow-up on shipping confirm from Vredestein as well.

-28C so about -20F. Hit -32C yesterday and more than -40C or F with the wind. Mountain delayed opening lifts for last couple of days and wasn't running the high speed quads. Stayed home and did paper work. Better today at 0 F (-18C)

Can't really justify going back to N-spec summer tires with these Vredesteins on the market. Just put on my second pair of Ultrac Sessanta tires this week. The first pair went up front and performed well at a 1-day HPDE this April, though of course the laps took off at least a third of the tread depth in one day.
You can just make out the distinctive front tread pattern in this pic of the CTTS in the paddock!

On our Cayenne S, (Tit. Ed.) that came with "Tecno" rims, i.e.: 9x20 Front and 10x20 Rear.
After the first OEM set (Michelin Diamaris), we had 4 sets of Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta.
Like the Diamaris, each set last about 20k miles (no rotations possible).
Note the that first two sets were all 275x40, while the two last were 275x40 front and 315x35 rear.
I felt that I did gain a lot of stability when towing with the 315 on the rear.
For those who would says 315’s on 10” is no good, I would confirm that the walls are vertical with the 315, while with the 275, the rims are fully “curb exposed” and the walls were very inclined.
All to say : These Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta are real good tires, imo better than the Diamaris, i.e.: a lot less "tracking" effect, and less noise particularly when on the last third of lifetime.

Hello all,
New to posting, but have been reading habitually for several years now.
I am looking to get 295/35/21 Vreds, but do not know where to order them? I spoke with the tire dealer close to my house, and they looked at me like I was making the brand up.. Spoke with the local Porsche Dealer service manager (Burlingame, CA), and he said he's not familiar with the brand and that I should stick with the Pirellis and Michellins.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Mahalo!
