Default Sloshing sound when coming to a stop

Just picked up a 2011 CTT - what a beast! The torque is insane, and a nice compliment to my high revving 991S.

I am getting a sloshing sound when coming to a stop. Almost sounds like gasoline in the tank! On a 2011 CTT. Any ideas?

You may have the dreaded (yet common) roof rail leak, mine did. Lift the rear cover and check your spare tire compartment for water. I hope you don't find any.

I'm hoping that's the cause lol

I don't have roof rails. Can that still be the cause? I've read a bunch of threads on older Cayenne's regarding the drainage tubes being clogged. Any ideas where they are located?

Had that sloshing sound in an old X5 ... the A/C drains under the SUV were clogged, and the lower vents filled with water causing the sloshing sound. Although 2011 sounds a bit early for the A/C to get full of crap.

Fix was get under the car, locate the drains, and blast them with compressed air. Stupidly, I was directly under them when I did that ... face full of mouldy A/C water ... but no more sloshing.

In the corners of the sunroof assembly. There are 4 corners and 4 drains.

This thread might help you a bit: http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic...ssenger-floor/

Had a similar problem on a Touareg, water was trapped between the lower body and the runners underneath, had to remove a plug to drain them.

Also make sure you don't have this problem. Same design feature as the cayenne.
