Cheap place for TPMS sensors

If you're looking for OEM... http://stores.ebay.com/shoptpms/
OEM Huf / Beru sensors and stems though looks like you'll have to email him to find out if he's got any more for the Cayenne.
I have no affiliation other than a being very satisfied customer.

No clue, one of the few things I have not read up on, but I figure 13 years of using these things on my car, they must be generic ones by now.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/370798064998?lpid=82
So maybe no go on these? ITM and $170 is tempting
I like the price and may just get them for my winter wheels....

Cool, thanks for the info, not sure on 957s but from below, sounds like my 2009 may need it? My touareg was the same deal, throw them on I think.
My 955 didn't have them (and was glad to be honest)

Says 5 year battery life.
Anyone know the torque spec to install both the stem and the nut that holds the sensor to the stem? Not sure if it would be specific to manufacture or Porsche.

Note: * = This is older Beru type sensors, which must use auto or manual duplicate approach to program new sensors.
Therefore obtain original sensor's ID is necessary.

Thanks All, something to research.
Looking at some old 433s I pulled off my touareg last year. It says 4NM on it next to what likes like a 20 and an 11 for the hex and nut size.
So I am guessing 4NM or 2.950248597108 FtLBS
Looking at PET my 2009 Turbo S says I have part 955 606 021 00. So looks like no programing according to ITM.

I have ITM's on my 08 GTS from the Ebay folks and they work just fine; no dealer involvement needed for the install. Hopefully the batteries last a long time so I don't need to replace them as they're on the off-road/winter tires which will likely not wear out in a long time.

I just dont see the point of spending money on TPMS. I disabled mine in the settings because the batteries ran out. I'm loath to spend a couple hundred dollars when its so easy to check the pressure with a gauge. What am I missing? Is there some benefit or is it just to be lazy?

No. But whenever I have gotten a flat its either..
A) slow leak that becomes apparent upon driving
B) rapid event where the flat becomes immediately apparent
Maybe because I have never had it working I don't "get it". But I'm also really meh about the back up camera. Lane departure, adaptive cruise control and self parking cars etc. At a certain point all these driver's aids are gonna make everyone super lazy. But I digress perhaps working TPMS is a valid safety feature. Its definitely low on my list of things to spend money on though.

I, too, have had harmless flats. But if TPMS saves my car from rolling and potentially harming my family that's on board, it's worth $170 (2 tanks of gas?!).

Fair enough. When you frame it that way it seems like a no brainer. I think the probability is extremely low that this tech is gonna save my life but i'll just shut up now.
