My touareg I was able to pull the TPMS fuse, and remove it from coding in a module somewhere. Then reset all the errors and I was good to go

I got a set of the eBay ITM sensors for $170 for my winter setup for my 2013 Cayenne last year.

Shipped quickly, worked perfectly, no programming required, and was easily installed for no charge at the tire shop. Now to see if it lasts the 5+ years.

IMHO while some people rather go without than pay Porsche the $500, at $170 I think it is worth it. Can't even count the number of times I had slow leaks over the years bringing my tires dangerously low (for aggressive driving). And I prefer not remebering to bend down with the pressure gage every week like you are supposed to. Not sure of the old Cayenne, but the new one shows the exact pressure in each tire. Not just an idiot light like some other cars.

Thanks guys, now that spring is here, I need the new summers and getting the ITMs for $160 shipped from amazon, overall these seem to have little negative reviews compared to the oro-teks on the interwebs.

the $40-$50 savings does not seem worth it but the ~400 dollar savings over OEM do!

How do I know if I have that option? My wheels don't have sensors, but on the center display behind menu, I can select if I want psi or bar. It never shows tire pressures. so either it is coded out by the dealer or mine never had it. I have the durametics pro.

Are these ITM sensors available for the 955 CTT please? I live in the UK but will pay the ship cost if these are such good value?

The part number you need is listed at the top in the PDF linked below. My understanding is the only difference is the frequency (433 vs 315) but otherwise they are made to work on multiple cars.

Do they also sell valve stems or is that a separate company? Debating just doing both on my summers even though my current sensors have been on and working pretty well for a few years. Unsure how old they are really. Anyway to test?

I can read estimated remaining battery life with my iCarScan - which means the Porsche PIWIS can too. Dunno what other aftermarket scan tools might have that ability.

All right, I read a lot about the TPMS all over the web....... are these going to re-lear automatically on 2009 GTS ?
Based on the info online, the answer should be yes. Anyone got these and can please confirm from personal experience?
(I don't want to go with the OE black version unless necessary)

Haven't had to do the Cayennes yet, but when I had the Boxster, I had them replaced at Discount Tire.

Same here, no issues with TPMS as of yet, but I am couple months away from a new set of tires and I am thinking of having my wheels re-finished so with my Cayenne being 2009 might be a good idea just get new ones in.
