the mirrors are very functional when used properly

too many try to make them accessory rearview and lose the blindspot function...

Is the top photo supposed to be a Porsche? With that square grill, protruding tail-light housings, and tiny wheels and tires? I don't think so. If that was posted somewhere as a spy shot of a Cajun or Cayenne I think someone made a mistake.

Unless you're just pulling our leg....

And since this is a Porsche forum, here is one that caught my eye as a "2015 Cayenne Coupe"

Somehow, I don't see this one materializing on the current shared VW platform. But style looks so much nicer than the X6 if you want an SUV without the practicality!

 

BMW hasn't made a car that will compete with the equivalent Porsche on performance in some time... at least none available in the US.

No reason to imagine they will now.

 

2 years ago in Zuffenhausen I had the opportunity to ask the designer of the Cayenne how to sum it up in a word..

the ability to retro fit roof racks,
replacement of the rear wiper to under the spoiler for cleaner look
wider opening rear doors
improved rear center arm rest- Current one is cheapo
the ability to view rear camera when the PCM is switched OFF
the ability to access the Oil filter w/o the need to remove the undertray!!!!

 

Hoax?Vatever..no amount of body camouflage can hide just how ungainly,out of proportion,lumbering..and plain old FUGLY that spy shot is
No harmony whatsoever in the lines..YIKES

 

i'm not a fan of bmw anymore (had my share of 'em), but:

 

why they have an x6 rather than an x5 is beyond me.
