bah, apart from the brakes, it looks pretty cheap, and surely the worn brakes would've come up in a PPI or even looking at them.....and , well......you were warned!!

welcome to Porsche ownership, but when they go you forgive her for everything :-)))

Aha yeah just ranting. I know I made it out pretty cheap with all the other $ figures I see flying on here.

Actually didnt do a PPI. bought the car site unseen. Just trusted the seller and lots of pics and phone conversations

doing your own labor makes a big difference plus you know job was done properly!
i do all my 928 maint, mostly for enjoyment. I am lucky to have a brilliant mech 10min walk away who specialises in the older cars.

No free lunch. Want to drive a $130,000 near super-car vehicle, but not pay the price of entry ... Well guesse how much all the parts are worth if/when they fail! Gotta budget that in, or get a nice CX-5 brand new with warranty for what you probabaly paid. Then all you have to worry about is the look of horror on your face every time you floor it

Guess you got off lucky. After looking at your list all you'll need is tires and maybe spark plugs and ignition coils.

Oh I forgot to add. Coil packs and spark plugs as well. I had revision .05 and looked brand new but changed out anyways. Plugs were bad though.

Tires are brand new

piston slap?

Seriously though, you've done most of what's "needed." Should last another 10k miles or so.
