With our 958 diesel we competed in a winter rally event north of the Arctic circle in both 2016 and 2020. First was 5500 miles 2nd 5100 miles, both one way in 10 days. The Webasto heater Porsche sells for the ROW was not available here thru a NA dealer. Ours was still under warranty. Solution was an oil pan heater pad that worked for us.
Did not have issues starting in the morning after sitting out in the cold, sometimes AC power was not available to plug-in. All ULSD diesel up there is pre-treated with anti-gel - we also added cetane boost.
