Looks good. Quick question, did using the led light cause any lamp errors on the dash?

No problems at all with the lights. In fact, the color looks identical to the other side license light.

I will post a picture definitely tonight. Wife drove the pig to work today and she is very happy with the results. The camera is kind of pointed downward and needs a bit of adjustment.

Cheers,

Here you go. As you can see, it needs a little bit of adjustment.

No adjustments. I will just have to play with the screws and hopefully, it will align.

Just received and installed my "Ebay" camera and all is working well. I was able to splice into the original 6v wiring from the OEM camera without any problems. I had purchased the 6v relay just in case but the camera operates fine with the 6v feed. Much easier to do that exepected. $30 to replace the OEM camera!

I'm getting motivated to start getting busy this weekend and put this reverse cam together in my MY06 955, but !!!....So far I haven't see any comment about night vision on those after market cameras...
Is that a standard feature on a Chinese camera?

TIA

Also will try to integrate this transmitter-receiver for reverse camera module to avoid routing the cables:

Don't bother with the wireless transmitter. It won't save you much trouble, as you will need to find power for both transmitter and receiver.

Running cable to the PCM is the easiest part.

Thanks for all the info, guys! I want to try this soon as well. Is all the information the same for a 2010 Cayenne S with PCM 3.0? Or is there no video connector on the PCM 3.0?

Pulling the PCM out to double check is pretty quick.

Chris51080,
Are you sure running the cable to the PCM is the easiest part?
The cable is subjected to tear near the front seat safety belt, specially trying to hiding it thru the scuff plate trims. Trims can be lifted and wires pressed thru along, like Cd changer harness route... It turns out pretty hard near the back seat area...

In the rear is a matter of finding the reverse light wire harness to power up one of the transmitter/receiver module. In the front is the same with the other module, the PCM power line would be the right one.

IMHO is more of a local connection thing rather than fighting all the way thru the trims of the car from rear to front.

If somebody has done this part of the job with only one beer... then that's what I would call "the easiest part" of the project
